Heritage Suites(ZIMCHUNG, GOL KAMRA)
Honorific for bedroom in lokay (Bhutia), this is the bedroom where generation of Sharkhalon's slept.
It has now been updated to a warm and welcoming modern room retaining its old world charm.
The Zimchung is a spacious wooden bedroom with large French windows and a sliding glass door that opens out into the
traditional balcony. The attached wooden bathroom with a shower and steam cabin is ideal for a restful stay.
The Bedroom directly faces the hill where Lhuentse Monastery is perched atop Mangalbarey, the village town- while
overlooking a part of the farm and the magnificent Persimmon tree in the backyard. To the right is Khangchendzogna and
the driveway into the farmhouse.
Meaning the Round Room in Nepalese- was traditionally a parlour; the bay windows reflect the
British Architectural influence. It is now a warm spacious bedroom awaiting an honoured guest.
The Gol Kamra is a spacious, luxurious wooden bedroom that opens out into a sitting area with traditional seating arrangements.
The attached wooden bathroom with a shower and steam cabin is ideal for a soothing stay.
The Bedroom directly faces the Khangchendzogna and the driveway into the farmhouse, while
to the right is the view overlooking the deck at the end of the lawn and part(s) of the farmland.
